Development of new studies and implantation of innovative technologies in carob cultivation and transformation.
Agronomical: Technification and modernization of the carob crop.
Industrial: Obtaining raw micronized kibbled carob.
This project will help us deal with the current problems that the carob crop is facing, and enable us to produce new products with a higher added value that are not available in the market at the moment.
Furthermore, it will promote and spread the benefits of carob and of the products obtained from it, influencing in other aspects related to crop biodiversity, environment sustainability and human health.
As part of this strategy PEDRO PEREZ S.L.U. has signed a contract with the Center for Industrial Technological Development (CDTI), a public business entity, under the Ministry of Economy and Competitiveness. Under this contract we have been granted an aid for our R & D project entitled “OPTIMIZATION OF CAROB CULTIVATION AND TRANSFORMATION”.
